Lamar Co., judge of probate, salary authorized, fees to be depositied in co. treasury, prior local acts ratified, const. amend.
Description

This bill would propose an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, relating to Lamar County, to authorize the Legislature to place the judge of probate on a salary and provide for the fees, commissions, allowances, and percentages collected by the judge of probate to be deposited in the county treasury. The amendment would ratify and confirm prior acts and any salary paid to the judge of probate effective for the term which commenced in January 1989.
