Title
Geneva Co., special recording fee in office of judge of probate, provided for, distrib.
Description

This bill would provide that an industrial development board in a Class 1 municipality may charge an administrative fee to any applicant granted a tax abatement pursuant to Chapter 9B, Title 40, Code of Alabama 1975, up to a certain amount with the proceeds to be used for industrial development purposes, including data mining; data-driven economic or industrial development projects; industrial sites or industrial parks; and other industrial development purposes

Relating to industrial development boards in Class municipalities; to amend Section 11-54-101, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide that any industrial development board in a Class 1 municipality whose directors are elected by the governing body of a Class 1 municipality, may charge an administrative fee to an applicant granted a tax abatement pursuant to Title 40, Code of Alabama 1975, to be used for industrial development purposes.
