Description
<p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Sections 16-25-1, 16-25-11.1, 16-25-14, and
16-25-21, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to retirement
benefits for employees who are members of the Teachers'
Retirement System; to establish a new defined benefit
retirement plan for employees who first become a member of the
Teachers' Retirement System on or after January 1, 2013,
except for those Tier II plan members that opt out by June 1,
2021.
