Description

Under existing law, some occupational licensing boards are required to transfer a portion of their unencumbered funds to the State General Fund at the end of each fiscal year

This bill would remove that requirement for the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board, the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy, and the Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors

To amend Sections 34-8-25, 34-21A-6, 34-27B-6, and 34-36-17, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the funds of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board, the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy, and the Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors; to remove the requirement that monies in those funds annually transfer to the State General Fund.
