<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, the Board of Nursing is
responsible for the regulation of the practice of
nursing in the state</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would authorize the board, by
rule, to establish standards for student nurse
apprenticeships and to issue student nurse
apprentice permits to eligible students</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Section 34-12-2, Code of Alabama 1975, as
amended by Act 2019-102, 2019 Regular Session, relating to the
duties of the Board of Nursing; to authorize the board, by
rule, to establish standards for student nurse
apprenticeships; and to authorize the board to issue student
nurse apprentice permits to eligible students.
