Title

Senior Service Dept., Advisory Bd. of Director, ex. officio members may appt designee, Sec. 38-3-1 am'd.

Description

Under existing law, an advisory board of directors is established to advise the Commissioner of the Department of Senior Services. The Commissioner of the State Department of Labor, the State Health Officer, and the Commissioner of the State Department of Human Resources are ex officio members of the board.

This bill would authorize each of these ex officio members of the advisory board of the Department of Senior Services to designate a person to serve in his or her place on the board.

Relating to the Advisory Board of Directors of the Department of Senior Services; to amend Section 38-3-1 of the Code of Alabama 1975, to authorize an ex officio member of the board to designate a person to serve in his or her place on the board.
