The bill extends the Alabama Board of Examiners in Marriage and Family Therapy's existence through October 1, 2025.
It keeps the board operating and regulating marriage and family therapists in Alabama through Oct 1, 2025. It preserves the current governing code sections (34-17A-1 to 34-17A-26) so they stay in effect until that date. It follows the Sunset Committee's recommendation to continue the board. It becomes law immediately upon governor's signature.
