The bill extends the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board's existence and its governing rules through October 1, 2023.
It keeps the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board in operation through Oct. 1, 2023, as recommended by the Sunset Committee. It also preserves the board's governing code sections (34-21A-1 to 34-21A-26) through that same date, ensuring continued regulation of onsite wastewater systems. The act becomes effective immediately upon passage and governor's approval.
