Title
Pike Road, ad valorem tax, add'l tax authorized to be levied by Montgomery County Commission for Pike Rd. School District, const. amend.
Description
<p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to Montgomery County, Alabama, and
particularly to the Pike Road School Tax District (the area
within the City of Pike Road, Alabama) in said County; to
provide for the levy in said District of an additional 25.5
mills of ad valorem school district taxation effective
simultaneously with the expiration of 6.5 mills of a separate
ad valorem school district tax, so as to produce a net
increase of 19 mills of ad valorem school district taxation in
said District, subject to approval of the levy of said
additional school district taxation by a majority of the
qualified electors of said District voting at a special
election to be held in said District therefor pursuant to the
laws governing special elections.
