HB68 continues the existence and regulation of Alabama's Board of Hearing Instrument Dealers through October 1, 2025.
It keeps the Board of Hearing Instrument Dealers in operation and its regulatory authority intact through October 1, 2025. It preserves the governing code sections that define the board’s duties (Sections 34-14-1 through 34-14-34) until that date. The bill follows the Sunset Committee’s recommendation to continue the board, and it takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
