Title
Alabama State University, board of trustees, meetings by electronic means, including for establishment of quorum, further provided for, Sec. 16-50-26 am'd.
Description

Existing law authorizes the Board of Trustees of Alabama State University to participate in meetings by electronic means, but requires a majority of a quorum of the board or of the relevant committee or subcommittee to be physically present at the physical location of the meeting

This bill would remove the requirement that a majority of a quorum of the board be physically present during meetings conducted by electronic means

Relating to Alabama State University; to amend Section 16-50-26, Code of Alabama 1975; to further provide for participation in meetings by members of the Board of Trustees of Alabama State University by electronic means.
