273.7 million is allocated to public higher education institutions for FY 2024, with exact amounts listed for each system and university. 726.3 million is allocated to the Department of Education and related boards for FY 2024, to be distributed to local school districts and other education entities across the state. The Department of Education will allocate these funds to local boards and districts statewide, following a detailed schedule of allocations, and a portion is set aside for teacher professional development through the Ed Farm Classroom of Tomorrow with a reporting requirement by October 1, 2025.
