This bill recognizes National Black HIV and AIDS Awareness Day in Alabama and urges residents to Engage, Educate, and Empower Black communities to prevent and manage HIV/AIDS.
If enacted, the bill would formally recognize NBHAAD in Alabama and commend its observance. It urges Alabama residents to Engage by discussing ways to involve the Black community in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, Educate by improving HIV/AIDS education among Black youth and adults, and Empower by highlighting successful stories and strategies from Black individuals living with HIV/AIDS, aligned with the NBHAAD theme.
