SB124 would extend the Alabama Security Regulatory Board's existence and authority through October 1, 2027.
It continues the Alabama Security Regulatory Board, created under Chapter 27C of Title 34, until October 1, 2027. It keeps the current governing laws and board structure in place, with no changes beyond the extension. The Legislature agrees with the Sunset Committee’s recommendation to continue the board, and the act becomes effective June 1, 2024.
