HB93 would exempt all property used by the Alabama State Port Authority from the state's personal property inventory and audit requirements.
If passed, the Alabama State Port Authority's property would not have to be listed in state personal property inventories or audited by the State Auditor. The exemption applies to all property owned or used by the Port Authority. The bill also makes non-substantive changes to update the code language and reflect current style, and it sets the effective date at October 1, 2025.
