Lee County shifts the duty of redeeming land for taxes from the Lee County Judge of Probate to the Lee County Revenue Commissioner and allows a processing fee up to $50, with fees going to the county general fund, effective immediately.
Transfers the responsibility for redeeming land for taxes in Lee County from the Judge of Probate to the Lee County Revenue Commissioner; the redemption process remains otherwise the same. The Revenue Commissioner may charge an administrative processing fee up to $50 for each redemption, with all collected fees deposited into the county general fund. The act becomes effective immediately.
