HB194 increases the Marshall County revenue commissioner’s salary to $106,781 starting with the next term of office, to be paid from the county general fund (effective July 1, 2026).
It amends the law to set the revenue commissioner’s annual compensation at $106,781 starting with the next term of office, replacing the prior $67,500 salary. It maintains that the revenue commissioner collects and pays into the general fund all fees and allowances charged for duties imposed on the office. The salary is paid in equal monthly installments from the county general fund. The act becomes effective July 1, 2026.
