Title
Disabled parking; unauthorized use of designated disabled parking places further provided for, notification of death in certain circumstances required, electronic scanning system authorized
Description

Under existing law, an individual who parks in a designated disability access parking place without proper authorization will be fined and must complete a minimum of 40 hours of community service on a second or subsequent offense.

This bill would increase the penalty for the unauthorized use of a designated disability access parking place to a Class C misdemeanor.
