SB65 increases the Marshall County revenue commissioner’s salary to $106,781 starting with the next term of office (effective July 1, 2026) and directs payment from the county general fund.
The bill raises the revenue commissioner’s annual pay from $67,500 to $106,781 and replaces the previous salary provision with the new amount, to be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund. It repeals the old $67,500 salary clause. It also clarifies that the revenue commissioner must remit into the county general fund all fees and allowances charged for duties of the office.
