Allen Creasy serves as the District 2 representative on the Athens City Council in Alabama, having begun his service in November 2025. Born in Florence and raised in Leighton, Alabama, Creasy graduated from Colbert County High School in 1982 before earning a degree in Education from the University of North Alabama. His professional career is deeply rooted in the local community, having served for 16 years as the head football coach for the Athens High School Golden Eagles before retiring from the position.Currently, Creasy serves as the National Sales Director for Wright Equipment. In addition to his municipal and professional roles, he is an active participant in community service organizations, including the Athens Rotary Club and the Boys & Girls Club Advisory Board. His philanthropic efforts include contributions to Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, and the Special Olympics. Creasy is married to Jenny Carden Creasy, and they have five children and four grandchildren. He is a member of the Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.
