Beth Witten moved to Auburn with her husband Steve in 1997. They have two children who attend Auburn City Schools.

Witten is part of several community service groups and serves, or has served, on the boards of Leadership Lee County, the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, the Public Relations Council of Alabama, the Asheton Lakes Homeowners Association, the Lee County Planning Commission and the Women's Philanthropy Board.

Witten is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in marketing and an emphasis on logistics and intermodal transportation. She is the founder and managing member of Blue Turtle Creative, a marketing and event management firm in Auburn.
