Bob McMillan is a trial lawyer who has practiced in Southwest Alabama since 1985. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law and has spent his entire 37-year career living and working in Conecuh and Monroe Counties. Bob understands that for a community to thrive, citizens have to be able to walk the streets and feel safe in their own town. He is passionate about trying cases and has extensive experience with both criminal and civil law. He is the current Alabama State Bar Commissioner for Conecuh & Monroe Counties, a former prosecutor for the towns of Repton, Castleberry, & Excel, and the former Circuit Clerk of Monroe County.
Bob is an active community leader and a devoted husband with two children and two grandchildren. His wife, Barbara, is a faculty member at Coastal Alabama Community College, and their children, Amanda and Robert, grew up in Monroeville where they attended and graduated from Monroe County schools. Bob’s community volunteerism has included serving as a youth sports coach, a Scout leader, the Little League T-ball Commissioner, and the president of the Monroe County High School Band Boosters. He is also a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Monroeville, where he participates in the choir ministry and serves as a deacon and trustee.
