Charlie Ebert began his service as council representative for District 5 in 2006 when he was appointed to fill an unexpired council term. He was elected in 2012 and re-elected in 2016 and 2020.

He is a lifelong resident of Foley. He graduated from Foley High School, attended Faulkner State Community College, and graduated from Auburn University with a BA in anthropology and a minor in business. He is president of Ebert Agency, Inc.

Ebert’s community service includes past president of the South Baldwin Jaycees, Foley Optimist Club, Foley Rotary Club, and 12 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Foley Fire Department. He served as co-chairman for the Foley Kids Park Building Committee in 2001 and is a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Charlie has one daughter and is married to Amy Morris Ebert.
