Charles Ray Winston

I am Charles Winston, and I am running for State Representative District 57. I have lived in Hueytown Brighton and am currently in Pleasant Grove. I have worked in Midfield for several years. All the cities are in District 57. I am District 57! I have served in the U.S. Army, and I am currently serving in my second term as an elected official as Constable. I have been working in the community since I was 7 years old, and service is not new to me.

I was taught the importance of hard work and making a difference and being a part of the process and I am instilling those same values in my children and the children that I mentor. My wife and I have worked hard to talk to as many people as we can to hear your concerns for District 57. I believe I can not speak for you if I do not speak to you. I am accessible and approachable. I can communicate and work with people from different walks of life and backgrounds.

An effective State Representative understands the need of all the people that they represent and can thoroughly communicate the legislative process. I will not be bossed or bought; my voice will echo the voice of the people of District 57. I will always do what is right for District 57. I have a network of elected officials, lawyers and citizens that I am already working with to move District 57 forward. My family and I lived, worked and served in District 57 for over 25 years.
