Christopher B. Busby has lived in Valley Head for most of his life. His father and mother are Kenneth and Carol Busby. He graduated from Valley Head High School in 2002 and then joined the U.S. Army in the same year. He was deployed to Iraq in 2003, injured by a mortar attack, and received the purple heart award for wounds sustained in combat. He was medically retired from the Army in 2005. He has been married to his wife, Alisha Busby, since 2006, and they have two children, Hunter Robertson and Braden Busby. This is his first term as councilman, and he is eager to serve the people of this community.
