Clem Richardson

Clem Richardson is a product of the Mobile County Public School System through and through. He graduated from Baker High School in 1974 and went to Troy University to pursue a degree in Education. He taught for three years at Straghn before returning to Baker High School where he spent 17 years as a teacher and coach. Clem Richardson's hard work propelled him into leadership positions where he spent time as an Assistant Principal at both Williamson High School and Theodore High School. After two years at Theodore High School, Richardson spent time at Central Office as a Curriculum Supervisor and County Athletic Director before returning to Baker once again as Principal.

Clem Richardson is a proven leader that will listen. For 40 years, he has devoted his life to positively impacting the lives of countless students and athletes in the Mobile County Public School System. His greatest impact was the personal relationships he had developed throughout the years with students, coaches, and teachers. He is passionate about providing quality educational experiences and opportunities for all students to succeed.

His passion for education and dedication to the community is exhibited through the members of his family. Clem's wife, Wanda Richardson spent 30 years working in child welfare. Clem and Wanda have two sons Jeremy and Jason who have followed his passion for helping the community. Jeremy is a successful Insurance Agent and Jason is a Secondary Principal in Mobile County. Clem's two daughters-in-laws are both educators in elementary and middle schools. Clem is a family man who wants the best for his grandkids' future and all of the students of Mobile County.
