Kent Back

Kent Back is serving in his first term on the City Council. He chairs the Administration Committee, is Vice Chair of the Education Committee, and is a member of the Finance Committee. He is a current member of the Finance, Administration & Intergovernmental Relations Committee, and is a past member of the Community & Economic Development Committee of the National League of Cities. Kent has also earned the designation of Certified Municipal Official.

Back is married to Kimberly Back, a kindergarten teacher in the Gadsden City School system.
