Richard Benderson

Richard Benderson is the Libertarian candidate for Alabama State Senate District 24. Mr. Benderson is a city planning consultant who has worked in the public sector for over two decades. Benderson was born in Demopolis, Alabama. He attended Demopolis City public school from K-12 grade. After graduation attended the University of West Alabama and Alabama A&M University. He earned a BA degree with additional graduate coursework in urban & regional planning. Benderson is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Prince Hall Affiliated Mason, AEAONMS, Inc. and Alabama A&M Alumni Association.
