Steve Ware

Steve Ware is a life-long resident of Hueytown, having grown up in the Garywood Community. He has been a Funeral Director in this city for over 30 years. In 1985 he began his career at Brown Service West Chapel on Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive. He took over management there in 1993 and continued at Brown Service until 2001 when he became manager of Peoples Chapel Funeral Home, where he continues to serve today.

Being involved in the community, both locally and at the state level, has always been extremely important to Steve. He has been asked to serve in many roles here in Hueytown. Steve has served as a member of the following organizations: Hueytown Chamber of Commerce, Hueytown Park Board, Hueytown Little League Football Board, and president of the Hueytown Quarterback Club. His peers also nominated him in Hueytown as the 2013 Citizen of the Year. On the state level, he has served two terms as District Governor for the Alabama Funeral Directors Association and currently serves on the Legislative Committee for the same organization.

He has been married to Traci Ware for 28 years and has two sons, Jake and Sam.
