Vera J. Quaites

Vera Quaites was re-elected to serve as councilmember for District 2 in 2016. She is a lifelong resident of Foley, where she attended Aaronville schools and graduated from high school in 1972. Vera graduated from Robertsdale Vocational School in the Nursing Assistance Program in 1979. Vera was employed at the Foley Nursing Home and the South Baldwin Hospital for years as a nursing assistant. She went on to work at Delphi Mechatronic Systems, formerly Packard Hughes Interconnect, for more than 19 years as a wire harness supervisor and later as human resources supervisor. Vera is currently employed with Spectrum Resorts, LLC.

Vera is a member of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves as the financial secretary.
