House Bill Would Pause Alabama Gas Taxes for Two Months
A bill introduced in the Alabama House would suspend the state's gasoline and motor fuel taxes from April 15 through June 15, 2026. The proposal would temporarily remove 30 cents per gallon on gasoline and 31 cents per gallon on motor fuels if lawmakers approve it.
