William Wentowski

A native of District 48, William grew up in a large, loud family in Mountain Brook. He graduated from The Altamont School in 2005 and went on to pursue a degree at the University of Alabama where he graduated with a BS in Commerce and Business Administration with a focus in International Business. William’s career, so far, has been working in the family business as the Sales and Marketing Director. He has been critical in growing the business and recruiting and training talented salespeople. He also spearheads the companies charitable giving and sponsorships.

William is an active outdoorsman who takes every opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors across Alabama. As a backpacker, he has hiked and camped the majority of the Alabama Pinhoti Trail and can be found hiking trails around the city or walking his dog around the neighborhood. During football season, he can be found cheering on his nieces in the Oak Mountain Marching Band and enjoying college football games with friends and family (Roll Tide!). He is an active Rotarian with Shades Valley Rotary Club where he helped bridge the digital divide during the pandemic. William identifies heavily with the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”.

William and his wonderful wife, Alaina, celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary this February. They have a sweet rescue dog named Mila who is just the right blend of energy and couch potato. They can be found around town walking Mila and trying out new restaurants.
