- Randolph Co., county capital improvement fund, money paid into pursuant to Amendment 668 (Section 219.05, Recompiled Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended), use for economic development, const. amend.
- Description
Under existing law, certain income from the Alabama Trust Fund is distributed to the county capital improvement funds of each of the 67 counties of the state. These funds may be expended by the counties for limited purposes.
This bill would propose an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, providing that in Randolph County moneys paid into the Randolph County Capital Improvement Fund pursuant to Amendment 668 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing as Section 219.05 of the Official Recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended, may be expended for economic development projects.
