A constitutional amendment for Baldwin County to define the Stockton Landmark District and stop local-law annexation of any district property by a municipality.
Defines the Stockton Landmark District with a boundary described by roads and waterways in Baldwin County. It would prevent any property inside the district from being annexed into a municipality by local law. There is an exception for municipalities incorporated after ratification that include any part of the district. It also sets up an election in November 2012 to vote on the amendment and describes the ballot wording.
