Title
Conservation and Natural Resources Department, whitetail deer, hunting season extended before and after regular gun deer season, Sec. 9-11-244 am'd.
Description

Existing law allows the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to set the time frame for hunting whitetail deer.

Existing law also prohibits whitetail deer from being hunted over bait.

This bill would extend the hunting season for whitetail deer to two weeks prior to the opening of regular gun season through the first two weeks after the close of regular gun season and would allow whitetail deer to be hunted over bait.
