Description

Under current law, Section 17-9-51, Code of Alabama 1975, contains language that is duplicative of Section 17-11-18, Code of Alabama 1975, regarding the time requirements for receipt of absentee ballots

This bill would repeal Section 17-9-51, Code of Alabama 1975, leaving the language governing the time requirements for receipt of absentee ballots in the chapter governing absentee voting

Relating to time requirements for receipt of absentee ballots; to repeal Section 17-9-51, Code of Alabama 1975, to remove duplicated language.
