Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under current law, Section 17-9-51, Code of
Alabama 1975, contains language that is duplicative
of Section 17-11-18, Code of Alabama 1975,
regarding the time requirements for receipt of
absentee ballots</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would repeal Section 17-9-51, Code
of Alabama 1975, leaving the language governing the
time requirements for receipt of absentee ballots
in the chapter governing absentee voting</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to time requirements for receipt of
absentee ballots; to repeal Section 17-9-51, Code of Alabama
1975, to remove duplicated language.
</p>
