The funds are placed in a designated county account and earmarked for the Calhoun/Cleburne Children's Center to support its operations and services, including assistance to law enforcement and the county Department of Human Resources. The Center must provide an annual budget to the County Commission, which will remit the funds quarterly to the Center, and the act takes effect immediately after the governor signs it.
