Title
Alabama Battleship Commission, certain employees added to definition of retiree, State Employees' Insurance Board determines years of creditable service, retroactive effect, Act 2011-698, 2011 Reg. Sess., am'd; Sec. 36-29-1 am'd
Description

This bill would provide that a retiring USS Alabama Battleship Commission employee would be considered a qualified employee and would provide further for the adjustment of his or her years of service for health insurance premiums.

This bill would add to the definition of retiree qualified employees who retire from the service of the USS Alabama Battleship Commission.

This bill would also authorize the State Employees' Insurance Board to determine the years of creditable service for such periods of time that an employee of the USS Alabama Battleship Commission was employed as a non-Merit System employee.

This bill would provide for retroactive effect.
