Allows the Mobile County Board of Education to authorize security personnel and resource officers to carry concealed firearms while on duty. Requires these employees to complete 16 hours of firearm training in a program approved by the Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission and to annually pass the firearm re-qualification required of law enforcement officers by the same commission. The measure becomes effective on the first day of the third month after it is enacted and approved by the Governor.
