Description

This bill would extend the private hospital assessment and Medicaid funding program for fiscal years 2014 and 2015.

This bill would provide that state-owned and public hospitals shall make intergovernmental transfers to the Medicaid Agency to be used to fund payments for inpatient and outpatient care and would provide that state-owned and public hospital certified public expenditures shall be for the hospital's uncompensated care and shall be used to pay the hospital its disproportionate share payments.
