Title

Conservation and Natural Resources Department, administrative rule implementing a check system to record harvest of deer and turkeys, prohibited

Description

Under existing law, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, by administrative rule, may limit the quantity of wildlife harvested and the manner in which wildlife is harvested.

Under existing administrative rule, harvests of deer and turkey must be ticketed.

This bill would prohibit the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources from adopting any administrative rule implementing a check system that requires a hunter to report the harvest of deer or turkeys to the department.
