Title

Transportation Department, funds transferred from Public Road and Bridge Fund to Public Safety Department, use for operation of Public Safety Department, time period extended to September 30, 2014, funds for purchase of motor vehicles for traffic law enforcement may be expended effective October 1, 2014, Sec. 32-2-84 am'd.

Description

This bill amends Section 32-2-84, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide that funds transferred from the Public Road and Bridge Fund of the Department of Transportation to the Department of Public Safety, which will become part of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency, pursuant to Act 91-797 may be expended for the operations of the Department of Public Safety.

To amend Section 32-2-84, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide that funds transferred from the Public Road and Bridge Fund of the Department of Transportation to the Department of Public Safety, which will become part of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency, pursuant to Act 91-797 may be expended for the operations of the Department of Public Safety.
