Description

The state headquarters of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is exempt from the payment of state and local sales and use taxes

This bill would also exempt local DAV chapters

To amend Section 40-23-5, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to organizations that are exempt from paying state and local sales taxes; to provide an exemption for local Disabled American Veterans chapters.
