Title
Funeral Service Board, continuing education required of licensees, exemptions, renewal notices provided electronically, Sec. 34-13-53 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, the Alabama Board of
Funeral Service does not require continuing
education of licensed funeral directors, embalmers,
and operators</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would require each licensee to
satisfy continuing education requirements
prescribed by rule of the board and would provide
for exemptions</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would also authorize the board to
provide renewal notices electronically to each
licensee in lieu of mailing</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Section 34-13-53, Code of Alabama 1975,
relating to the Alabama Board of Funeral Service; to require
continuing education for licensed funeral directors,
embalmers, and operators; to provide for exemptions; and to
authorize the board to provide renewal notices electronically
to each licensee in lieu of mailing.
