- Title
- Funeral Service Board, continuing education required of licensees, exemptions, renewal notices provided electronically, Sec. 34-13-53 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, the Alabama Board of Funeral Service does not require continuing education of licensed funeral directors, embalmers, and operators.
This bill would require each licensee to satisfy continuing education requirements prescribed by rule of the board and would provide for exemptions.
This bill would also authorize the board to provide renewal notices electronically to each licensee in lieu of mailing.
