Title
Medicaid, inmates in city or county jail or custody of Dept. of Corrections, benefits suspended during custody
Description

This bill would specify that a person sentenced to custody in a city or county jail or to the Department of Corrections would have his or her Medicaid eligibility suspended and not terminated when the person is in custody

Relating to persons sentenced to custody in a city or county jail or to the Department of Corrections; to further provide for eligibility for Medicaid to be suspended when the person is in custody; and to provide for applications for Medicaid under certain conditions prior to release from custody.
