Title
National Guard, including national guard members from other states, rights to reemployment, Sec. 31-12-2 am'd.
Description

Under existing law, members of the Alabama National Guard who are called into active duty for 30 consecutive days or more, including state active duty, are granted the benefits of the federal Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.

This bill would specify that the law would apply to members of the national guard of another state and would delete the requirement that the active duty be for 30 consecutive days.
