RESOLUTION OF LOCAL APPLICATION FOR SB81, SB145,
SB216, HB33, AND HB168.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE LEGISLATURE OF
ALABAMA, That having been approved by three-fifths of the
members elected to the Senate, this body, pursuant to Section
284.01 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, hereby
determines that SB81 of the 2018 Regular Session applies only
to Clay County and may be adopted only by a favorable vote of
a majority of the qualified electors of Clay County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That having been approved by
three-fifths of the members elected to the Senate, this body,
pursuant to Section 284.01 of the Constitution of Alabama of
1901, hereby determines that SB145 of the 2018 Regular Session
applies only to Jackson County and may be adopted only by a
favorable vote of a majority of the qualified electors of
Jackson County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That having been approved by
three-fifths of the members elected to the Senate, this body,
pursuant to Section 284.01 of the Constitution of Alabama of
1901, hereby determines that SB216 of the 2018 Regular Session
applies only to Morgan County and may be adopted only by a
favorable vote of a majority of the qualified electors of
Morgan County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That having been approved by
three-fifths of the members elected to the Senate, this body,
pursuant to Section 284.01 of the Constitution of Alabama of
1901, hereby determines that HB33 of the 2018 Regular Session
(Act 2018-17) applies only to Calhoun County and may be
adopted only by a favorable vote of a majority of the
qualified electors of Calhoun County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That having been approved by
three-fifths of the members elected to the Senate, this body,
pursuant to Section 284.01 of the Constitution of Alabama of
1901, hereby determines that HB168 of the 2018 Regular Session
(Act 2018-37) applies only to Clay County and may be adopted
only by a favorable vote of a majority of the qualified
electors of Clay County.
