Title
Agriculture Authorities, exempt from competitive bid laws, Sec. 11-20-82 added
Description
Under existing law, a county may establish an agriculture authority to promote agricultural businesses, operations, and commodities, workforce development, and economic development within the county.
This bill would exempt an agriculture authority from state competitive bid laws for any contract for public works.
Relating to agriculture authorities; to add Section 11-20-82 to the Code of Alabama 1975; to exempt an agriculture authority from state competitive bid laws for any contract for public works.
