Title

Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, a local board of
education is required to post notice of each
personnel vacancy in a conspicuous place at each
school campus and worksite at least 14 days before
the position is to be filled</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would require the local board of
education to post notice of each personnel vacancy
on the board website, at a minimum, or in a
conspicuous place at each school campus and
worksite, at least seven days before the position
is to be filled</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> To amend Section 16-22-15, Code of Alabama 1975,
relating to the posting of personnel vacancies by a local
board of education; to require the local board of education to
post notice of each personnel vacancy on the board website, at
a minimum; and to decrease the time required for posting a
personnel vacancy notice from 14 to seven calendar days before
the position is to be filled.
