Title
Campaign finance reports, electronic filing required without exceptions, Sec. 17-5-8 am'd.
Description
Under existing law, candidates and political action committees who raise $5,000 or less per election cycle are not required to file campaign finance reports with the Secretary of State
This bill would require a principal campaign committee or political action committee that meets the threshold for filing campaign finance reports to file the reports electronically with the Secretary of State
Relating to campaign finance reports; to amend Section 17-5-8, Code of Alabama 1975, to require all principal campaign committees and political action committees that meet the threshold for filing campaign finance reports to file reports electronically.
