Under existing law, candidates and political action committees who raise $5,000 or less per election cycle are not required to file campaign finance reports with the Secretary of State.
This bill would require a principal campaign committee or political action committee that meets the threshold for filing campaign finance reports to file the reports electronically with the Secretary of State.
