Title
Campaign finance reports, electronic filing required without exceptions, Sec. 17-5-8 am'd.
Description
<p class="bill_description"> Under existing law, candidates and political
action committees who raise $5,000 or less per
election cycle are not required to file campaign
finance reports with the Secretary of State</p><p class="bill_description">
This bill would require a principal campaign
committee or political action committee that meets
the threshold for filing campaign finance reports
to file the reports electronically with the
Secretary of State</p><p class="bill_entitled_an_act"> Relating to campaign finance reports; to amend
Section 17-5-8, Code of Alabama 1975, to require all principal
campaign committees and political action committees that meet
the threshold for filing campaign finance reports to file
reports electronically.
</p>
